The Longest Day Alzheimer’s Association Scrapbook Fundraiser 2025

Alzheimer’s disease targets the thing that scrapbookers care about the most - people’s memories! I hope you will join me again this year as we raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association through their The Longest Day fundraiser.

IN PERSON EVENT IS SOLD OUT!!

I am offering TWO options this year: a pre-recorded virtual event (with some VERY special guest presenters!) ON the longest day of the year, June 21, and/or an in person event at my studio in Madison, Alabama on Friday, June 27 and Saturday, June 28.

100% of the event fees for these events will go directly to the Alzheimer’s Association and may be tax deductible based on your own tax situation.

For the virtual event, a $35 minimum donation will grant you access to a closed Facebook group for event guests. Then, on June 21, beginning at sunrise on the East Coast (5:34 am EDT) and running through sunset on the West Coast (8:08 pm PDT) there will be new projects shared to the group throughout the day (actual schedule will be posted once we confirm all the participants) - both a printable handout AND an exclusive video tutorial for each of the day’s layouts.

Then, you’ll have until midnight PDT on July 5th to post your version of each layout in the Facebook group for the opportunity to win prizes!

The in-person event is FULL. Leaving this up here so people remember the details. For the in-person event, a $50 minimum donation will get you a space to crop at Rocket Paper Scissors Scrapbook Studio from noon - 9 pm on Friday, June 27th and 10 am - 6 pm on Saturday, June 28th, plus the Treasured Memories Simple Page Kit. This event will include dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday AND everyone who registers for the in-person event will also get access to the virtual event!

Or you can choose to come for either Friday or Saturday (without the virtual upgrade) for a $30 minimum donation.

And of course, I’m asking for a minimum donation, but since 100% of what you donate goes directly to the Alzheimer’s Association I hope that you’ll consider making more than the minimum.

2. Fill out the Google Form (you know how I love Google Forms!) so that I know which option you are signing up for!

Once you’ve filled out the forms you’ll get an invite to the Facebook group, and we’ll share the supply list (although you can always use whatever products you want to for the layouts!) and other information (like an optional t-shirt order, and the actual event schedule).

Not on Facebook? I will be happy to send you the handouts and video links through email. That will be one of the options on the Google Form.
