Hello again, scrapbook friends! Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, and all of you who have a mom. Big hugs to those of you who are missing your mom today more than ever, and of course to those of you who for other reasons struggle with this holiday. Know that you’re not alone and people love you.

Here I am again, because CM is determined to keep us guessing! Yes, another new collection launching Monday, and it’s a surprisingly big one! Patriotic (USA and Canada) plus some European Scenes mini collections.

Our May Happy Album circle is THIS WEEK, Tuesday the 14th, both in person and online. Then I’m cropping Wednesday during the day, but then I will be taking two weeks “off” (you know I’ll email you again though if there’s something I need to tell you!) but will be back in time for Project Recipe night on the 28th. The Longest Day

Please join me in raising funds to fight Alzheimer’s Disease, along with my VERY special guest Noreen Smith from the Creative Memories Home Office!!

Noreen will be teaching us three exclusive layout ideas (using products that will be released from CM in early June) plus we’ll have three tool tips breakouts during the event.

Saturday, June 15
9:00 am - 9:00 pm

There are THREE WAYS to participate in this event:

In person with a 12-hour crop at my studio in Madison. $100 minimum donation. (Note that we will likely be sharing 6’ tables so pack accordingly!)

Online via Zoom $30 minimum donation. (I would love to see groups of people gather to crop wherever you are, then join in for the live layout and training sessions via Zoom!) This will also get you access to the exclusive Facebook group where we will be posting the handouts for the classes.

Making a donation of any amount. $30 or more will get you access to the Facebook group, the recordings of the Zoom classes and tool tips segments that you can watch later. I will have a non-Facebook option if needed.

No matter how you plan to participate, I’m asking everyone to fill out the same Google registration form and pay through my official link on the Alzheimer’s Association fundraiser page. Details are here:

International Scenes

If your patriotism leans more toward Canada, you’re in luck too! The new Canadian Scenes collection includes an album cover, designer paper pack, stickers, province stickers (with the names of each province! Wish they’d do this for the USA!) and an XL layered frame.

Last year we had some US Scenes mini collections, and at some point CM did a poll on Facebook asking which European sites we’d like to see similar packs for.

The results are in, and beginning Monday, May 13 at noon central time, you can purchase Paper Packs (6 papers) and Stickers (one sticker strip) for each of the following locations in the European Scenes collection:

Who else is thinking they need to plan a European vacation?? (Although of course I am already thinking of ways I can use these in my domestic scrapbooking layouts!)

Wherever you travel, you may want to add the Passport to Adventure Washi Tape and Clear Word Stickers to your stash of travel-related scrapbooking supplies! These coordinate with the previously released Passport to Adventure collection.
