Happy June, scrapbook friends! Welcome to summer! I hope everyone has some fun plans, whether that means travel, gardening, relaxing, or of course, scrapbooking!

Lots going on in this email: updates to the Longest Day fundraiser crop (including an Open House option if you just want to come meet Noreen and help me look good to the CM Home Office!), registration opens for the Labor Day weekend retreat, a beautiful new collection AND two new shimmer colors (both paper and pens)!

PLEASE NOTE that due to some scheduled maintenance by Creative Memories’ website host, the Monday new product launch will be delayed to 2:00 Central time.

(Also, if you are signed up for the Longest Day fundraiser crop, please watch for another email from me with information about what products you may want to order for the classes Noreen and I are doing!)

The Longest Day

Thanks to all of you who have chosen to support my The Longest Day fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association! I have set a goal to raise $5000 this year and would LOVE your help with that!

There are multiple ways you can participate - I will give a short summary here, and more details can be found by going to my website, linked below.

1. Attend the in-person crop with me and Noreen Smith on Saturday, June 15.
2. Attend the Virtual version of the crop via Zoom.
3. Drop by my Open House on Friday, June 14 to meet Noreen.
4. Purchase a Memories Matter t-shirt
5. Make a donation directly to the Alzheimer’s Association through my fundraiser link.
6. Host a fundraising event of your own by joining my The Longest Day team.
7. Make a purchase in person or on my website anytime on June 14 & 15 and I will send 25% of the retail amount to the Alzheimer’s Association.

The Longest Day fundraiser

Please note that I will not have open shopping hours during the Saturday event (because we will be live-streaming on zoom and holding classes). If you want to drop by to meet Noreen or shop that is only going to be available on Friday.

Noreen and I will also be going “live” in the Creative Memories Virtual Crop group on Friday, June 14, probably sometime between 4:00 and 5:00 pm Central time, and I’d love for you to tune in for that. If you’re local I would really love for you to come to the studio during that time so that we can show off our fun crowd!

Rocket City Scrapbook Retreat

Many of you have been asking me about the next retreat, and I’m finally ready to let you sign up!

Thursday, August 29 - Sunday, September 1
(Starts and ends at 3:00 pm)

We MIGHT be able to add a fifth day option but that will depend on how many people are interested. I did a survey on the Facebook group but a lot of the people who responded aren’t actually people who’ve come to our retreats before. :)

Please note that because the last event sold out, if you are a Creative Memories Advisor who is not on my team, I need you to give my customers priority for this retreat. Registration for other Advisors will open on July 1 based on availability.

Labor Day Weekend Retreat 2024

PLEASE do not share the registration link yet with people who are not subscribers to my email list. Priority for this event goes to those of you who are my customers and team members, and once you’ve had a chance to sign up I will open it up to others.

Full of Wonder Collection

Full of Wonder is a beautiful new collection inspired by the look of alcohol ink washes and the colors of gemstones and butterflies.

This collection includes an album cover, paper album, paper pack, mats, stickers and embellishments. You'll love it for photos of birthdays and celebrations, spending time in nature and any magical moments of your life. There’s also a fun Garland Banner Border Punch which will work for SO many different themes! I can already envision it for birthdays, graduations and 4th of July!

We also have two new 12-piece card kits (so far this year we’ve only had the Trio Card Kits), Punny and Grateful Greetings. If you haven’t tried a CM Card Kit, they are a fast and fun way to make a handmade card for a lot less than it’ll cost you to buy one from the store!

If you are local to me and would like me to order any of the new products for you, I will have them ready for pickup at any event starting at our June 10th Happy Album Circle.
