Happy November, scrapbook friends! I hope you are finding lots of things to be thankful for this month!

High on the list of things I am thankful for is all of you who attended my Croptoberfest events! We had such a great time - it was lovely to meet some new friends, and to get to see some of you that I haven’t seen in a while. I loved having the food provided (and not by me, mostly!) and look forward to doing it again soon!

In the meantime I am excited to be heading up (today!) to visit my daughter in her new home in Pennsylvania - she’s only about 90 miles from New York City and I am SO super excited that I also have tickets to see Hamilton on Broadway Wednesday night!! My family isn’t nearly as excited as I am about that part, but they don’t know what great seats I was able to get!

There are only three new items this week, instead we are getting our Black Friday freebies early!!

Event Listing

It was so wonderful having a full house for Croptoberfest, and I’d love for more of you to be able to join us for some of the regular events we do every single month! You can always see the most current schedule on my website. If you want to sign up for multiple events you can do that here.

Tuesday ZOOM crops (10:00 am - noon) Crop with us from the comfort of your own home! No frills, just a dedicated day/time to hang out with some cropping friends around the country.

Wednesday Day Crops (9:00 am - 2:30 pm) November 15 & 29.

Happy Album Circle: After some discussion with group members, we have moved our Happy Album circle to the SECOND Tuesday/Wednesday of the month for the rest of this year. In person, Tuesday, November 14, 6:00 - 8:00 pm and/or Virtual, Wednesday, November 15, 6:00 - 9:00 pm. (I know that the 15th is technically the third Wednesday, but I will be out of town that day - actually I will be in NYC watching Hamilton on Broadway that night!!)

Layout Class (6:00 - 8:00 pm): Tuesday, November 28. We’ll be doing the Christmas Cheer and Nordic Winter Project Recipes - a little later in the month than usual so we don’t interfere with Thanksgiving week. (And so that I have no choice but to tidy up after my Open House which ends the day before!)

Weekend crops (Friday noon - 9:00 pm and/or Saturday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm) Croptoberfest took the place of one of our crops, so we’ll be meeting on November 17 & 18 then not again until December 1 & 2.

Contract is SIGNED for our next Rocket City Scrapbook retreat, which will be February 29 - March 3, 2024. I had hoped to be able to open up registration for that this week, but with all that I’ve had going on I just have not had the time to set it up, so it’ll have to wait till after I get home from my trip. Hopefully by the next email!

Hooray! Black Friday is starting early this year! (Lowe’s does it, why not CM??) For a limited time starting Monday, November 6 at noon Central time, you can earn exclusive bundles (a $63 value!) free with qualifying orders!

Since I know someone will ask: NO, you will not be able to purchase any of the contents of these bundles later. CM is very specific about keeping the gifts exclusive, and the only time they sell leftover promo items is if something didn’t sell out. I think these all will! So the only way to get your hands on one of these is buy placing an order during the promo period.

The Queue-it system will be in place starting at 11:30 CT Monday and usually runs for about 1-2 hours depending on how busy the site is. Be aware that if you log on between 11:30 and 11:59 you are RANDOMLY assigned a spot in the queue, so it doesn’t help to log on right at 11:30.

I feel like I need to throw this out there one more time: If you love all three bundles and plan to order $450 to get them all, PLEASE let me talk to you about the Personal-Use Advisor opportunity! As we enter this month of focusing on the things we are thankful for, YOU are at at the top of my list. It would have been unimaginable to me even five years ago that I would have a permanent scrapbook studio outside my home, or a YouTube channel, or so many great customers around the country. One thing I absolutely know is that although I could scrapbook on my own, and I could make videos that only my family watches, the thing that makes this all so rewarding is getting to connect with so many fun scrapbookers - like you!
