NSD update and Album Kit promos

Buenas Dias, Scrapbook friends! I am writing this to you from the Atlanta airport, which is not where I was meant to be on Sunday morning! My flight home from the Creative Memories incentive trip had a little hiccup, apparently Delta had a “flight crew scheduling issue” and when I arrived in ATL last night for my 3-hour layover I got a message that my 11 pm connecting flight had been cancelled! They rebooked me on the 8:30 am flight, but I did not want to have to deal with leaving the airport then coming back before dawn to go through TSA again!

Luckily, years ago we had a similar situation and someone told me there’s a business called “Minute Suites” which is basically these teeny tiny rooms you can rent for a few hours to take a nap, and their overnight rate was not much more than I would have paid for a hotel - and I think Delta is going to reimburse me! So that is my final adventure for my very fun getaway - plus a new experience for the scrapbook!

Just a few quick updates for you - I have three empty spots for this weekend’s NSD so I am able to open up some partial event options, plus a couple of special offers featuring the new Album Box kits, launching tomorrow at noon CT.

I did get to see some sneak previews while I was in Cabo (which is one of the main perks of going on these trips!) and I can tell you that we have a BIG release coming next Monday, April 20th, including Secret Box #2. They would not let me take photos but I got to see what’s inside!!

AND - they gave us an update on CM’s new Die Cutting Machine and some of the accessories that will be coming out with it and told us we will see it in AUGUST. I am very excited about having 12” dies to add to our product line, and still trying to figure out how I feel about the embossing folders. :) There’s a set of alphabet dies too, and some storage for all of them!

Event Schedule

All events are held at my studio in Madison, Alabama. This month is wonky because of three National Scrapbook Day weekends, but we’ll be back to normal-ish next month.

Pre-registration is required for all cropping events via Google Forms, so once you’ve looked at the options please click the link at the bottom of this section to sign up!

Scrap Journal Club: 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Tuesday, April 14 Scrapbook the now, NOW! $10
(I have a few new to our group people coming to this this week - hooray! - and so if you are interested in coming early we can do a quick “beginner” class to help you get started. Let me know if you would like to do this).

Wednesday Day Crops: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Wednesday April 15, 22 and 29. No frills, just time to work on your current projects. Bring your lunch or we’ll go in together on a DoorDash order. $10.

Project Recipe Class: 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Tuesday, April 28
Come create two double page layouts using some of CM’s newest collections. I’ll provide the “ingredients” and the directions and we’ll build the layouts together. $20 basic or $35 deluxe (which includes 2 packs of stickers)

Album Kit Core Bundles

The one complaint I’ve heard about the Album Box kits is that you can’t buy an additional set of Simple Page Kits to extend the album. Other Advisor friends of mine have had customers who want the “guts” of the album but not the specific albums that CM chose to go along with them.

Now, for a limited time (frankly I think these are going to sell out very quickly) CM is offering to ADVISORS ONLY the opportunity to buy the core pieces - the papers, embellishments, border stickers and guidebook - separately from the album/pages.
