Hello scrapbook friends! I am home from my (lovely) family reunion outside of Branson, Missiouri. There were 40 of us in one house!! Luckily it was a HUGE house - 12 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms! Thankfully someone else is paid to clean all those after we lived there for a week!

I did manage to finish (mostly) the family reunion scrapbooks from our last reunion which was in 2021. It ended up taking five volumes, but people loved getting to relive those memories! I brought my 11 year old niece home with me for a couple of weeks but once she’s safely sent back home I do hope to do a YouTube flip through so you can see how the albums turned out.

Event Schedule

I’m very excited at the response to my kids camp scheduled for this Tuesday. I have FOURTEEN kids aged 6-14 attending, and I am so hopeful that we can pass our love of scrapbooking on to the next genearation!

Project Recipe Layout Class: Tuesday, July 30, 6:00 - 8:00 pm. We’ll be doing the new Go Fetch/Purrfect Kitty Cat and a MYSTERY Project Recipe.
First August Crop: Friday, August 2 noon - 9:00 pm and/or Saturday, August 3, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. This will be during the Olympics so we’ll have some Olympic themed activities at the crop!
Second August Crop: Friday, August 16 noon - 9:00 pm and/or Saturday, August 17, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Dual-Tone White-Core Cardstock Buffet

Have you ever been working on a layout and wished you had a cardstock color that was just slightly lighter or darker than the color you actually have? Well, CM is giving us a chance to try that out with some limited edition Dual-Tone White Core Cardstock.

From July 29 to August 6 (starts and ends at noon OR while supplies last) you can try out a new style of cardstock for CM (although it’s not new to the scrapbooking world!) CTMH used to sell cardstock like this, and I’m sure it’s the addition of several former top-level CTMH Makers to our Advisor family that has prompted CM to give this a try.

Each side of this cardstock is a different shade from any of our existing cardstock colors, plus it has a white core which is fun if you like to do paper tearing techniques.

As always during a Cardsstock Buffet, when you purchase six or more packs of the exclusive colors, you have the opportunity to earn a free pack - this time it’s a beautiful Dual-Tone Teals color.

Note that the only way to get a pack of the Teals cardstocks is buy purchasing six packs of the other colors. HOWEVER for my local customers I will be offering a sampler pack with two sheets of each of all of the colors (including the teal) for $14.

You-Pick-It-Promo Extended and updated!

The You-Pick-It Promo that was supposed to end last Friday has been extended a week! So now you have until Friday, August 2nd at noon to choose a free gift bundle with any $150 purchase!

However, the Morning Brew bundle ran out during the original promo period, so that is no longer a choice. They have added in the Candlelit Bundle which was from last year’s Black Friday specials - it’s perfect for birthdays or campfires and the “flames” punch also makes great raindrops!

This is projected to run through noon on Friday, however, if bundles run out during this extended period they will not be replaced so if there’s one you love you might want to act fast.

I am back in town for a little while at least, and so I’m able to place orders for local pickup at my crop on Friday the 2nd and Saturday the 3rd.

If you would like to order through me for pickup please do that here: July 29 CM preorder. I do need your order no later than 11 am on Monday, July 29th to guarantee availability by this weekend’s crop.

I’m beginning to have a problem with people who ask me to order for them and then don’t pick up for several weeks (even months!) so I ask that if you are not going to be able to connect with me within the next couple of weeks you place your order online directly.

If you are unable to pick it up or you live too far away for that to be an option, as always I truly appreciate your orders on my website!

Photo Trimmer update

And now for the bad news - I had hoped to have news about the new Photo Trimmer, and I do - it’s running a little late. That doesn’t impact you, because it was always going to be available to customers in late August, but I am sad that I won’t get a chance to preview it for you!

BUT it is on the way and they are telling us it should be here any day now (well, any day in August, anyway!) so watch for more information.
