Hello friends!! Welcome to October! Boy that happened quick!

It’s been an eventful month in my life!! We kicked things off with Rocket City Retreat #15, my husband and I took a much-needed weekend getaway to beautiful St. George Island, Florida, I had a fantastic time at a CM Advisor training retreat out in Fresno, California (complete with an exhausting red-eye flight home!) and capped off the month welcoming my youngest daughter home from her mission trip up in rural Idaho. And October looks to be equally busy!

I am thrilled to have welcomed FOUR new Advisors to my team this month! Creative Memories has been such a blessing in my life, and if you are looking for a way to turn your love of scrapbooking into something more, I would love to set up a time to chat with you about how CM might fit into your life!

Madison Street Festival

This Saturday, October 7th, is the annual Madison Street Festival here in my town of Madison, Alabama. This is my second year to have a booth at the festival and I am looking forward to seeing some of you AND of course to meeting some new scrapbook friends!

If you are close enough and available, I would love for you to stop by my booth! I do not know exactly where that will be, but it will be somewhere on Front Street, probably near the gazebo. I will post the exact location on my Facebook page Friday night after I get set up.

Croptoberfest!

Wow! I cannot believe the response I have had to this year’s Croptoberfest!! If you are hoping to attend, as of right now I only have ONE spot left for November 2-4, and only four spots left for October 26-28. Once those spots are filled I will start a waiting list. I am also trying to configure my space to squeeze in a few more tables because I hate the idea of turning anyone away!

I will do my best to keep the registration form updated, so if it still allows you to choose a date, that means there is still a spot.

If you are already registered and willing to share your 6’ table with another guest, I will reward you with a $25 shopping credit (in person or online) if I end up needing to take you up on that. Please reply to this email and let me know if I can put you on a “willing to share” list!

Event Listing

We are loving our permanent event space in Madison, Alabama, and now that the sign is up on the building we are connecting with even more new scrapbook friends! We would love to add you to our crop group!

Tuesday ZOOM crops (10:00 am - noon) Crop with us from the comfort of your own home! No frills, just a dedicated day/time to hang out with some cropping friends around the country.

Wednesday Day Crops (9:00 am - 2:30 pm) October 4, 11, 18 & 25.

Happy Album Circle: After some discussion with group members, we have moved our Happy Album circle to the SECOND Tuesday/Wednesday of the month for the rest of this year. In person, Tuesday, October 10, 6:00 - 8:00 pm and/or Virtual, Wednesday, October 11, 6:00 - 9:00 pm. (November will be even stranger, since I’ll be out of town on the second Wednesday so we’ll do the third Wednesday which is the day after the second Tuesday. Clear as mud?)

Layout Class (6:00 - 8:00 pm): Tuesday, October 17. CM is releasing Christmas Cheer this month, and I am just not ready to do Christmas layouts yet, so we will be doing two “Mystery” layouts! They’ll have an autumn theme, but I’m not sure yet exactly what that will look like!
Project Recipe Class

Weekend crops (Friday noon - 9:00 pm and/or Saturday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm) Just one regular crop this month and next month due to Croptoberfest. This month will be our 2nd Annual “Think Pink” crop and 25% of the proceeds from the event fees and product sales at the event will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Please mark your calendar for my annual Open House, which will be held November 24-28 this year. Watch my future emails for the exact times I’ll be open for you to drop by for some holiday treats, shopping specials, make & takes and free gifts just for attending!

I am working on a contract for our next Rocket City Scrapbook retreat, which will be February 29 - March 3, 2024, so put that on your calendar as well, and hopefully I can open up registration for that very soon!

The Queue-it system will be in place starting at 11:30 CT Monday and usually runs for about 1-2 hours depending on how busy the site is, so don’t be worried if the website doesn’t look exactly the way you’re used to when you log in!
