Happy Valentine’s Week, scrapbook friends! I hope you are able to spend time this week with people you love, or at least to spend time with the memories of people and places that you love! Scrapbooking makes that so much easier!

This is the midmonth email so I don’t go into as much detail about future events, but you can check on my website if you want to know more than what I have listed here.

Friday, February 17 (noon - 9 pm) and/or Saturday, February 18 (10 am to 6 pm): annual Valentine’s Day crop - feel free to wear red/pink or your favorite Valentiney attire!

Next month’s weekend crops will be March 3 & 4 and 17 & 18.

*Zoom crops happen every Tuesday morning whether I am able to attend or not - several of the girls go on without me!

Rocket City Scrapbook Retreat

Join us at the beautiful Lake Guntersville State Park Lodge the weekend of March 9 - 12! The hotel still has rooms available and I can continue to accept registrations until they are sold out (or until I am!), so if you are on the fence please let me know that so we can make sure you still have options!

Get ready to SQUEEZE the Day!

National Scrapbook Day is just around the corner! This annual event is officially observed on the first Saturday of May, but since it’s one of my most popular events of the year I now do TWO multi-day sessions! I know that with this year’s Rocket City Retreat falling during many people’s Spring Break weeks, there will be some new faces this time for NSD!

We start Thursday night with a pizza dinner kickoff followed by the Project Recipe class - where we will create two layouts using the exclusive NSD Project Recipe kit. Friday will be similar to our regular monthly crops with dinner included. Saturday we wrap it all up with a 12-hour event that includes two catered meals along with special NSD activities. 5:00-9:00 pm on Thursday, noon-9:00 pm on Friday and 10:00 am-10:00 pm on Saturday.

This year’s events are scheduled for April 27 - 29 and May 4-6. If there is availability I can let people register for both, but won’t know that until it gets closer. For now I ask that you choose the ONE that works better for you. Fee for this event will be $100 and will include the exclusive Project Recipe plus a goody bag with exclusive CM gifts, four meals and of course the 24 hours of scrapbook time (at your own 6’ crop table).

Registration for NSD won’t open up till mid-March, but I’d love to know who is planning to attend, and which session. If you are not local and would like help finding a hotel close by our crop venue I am happy to help you with that!
