Happy December, scrapbook friends! I almost didn’t send you an email this week, but this might be my last chance to wish some of you a very Merry Christmas, and a happy fourth day of Hanukkah to my Jewish friends! However you celebrate I hope the season brings you joy and happiness!

I still have zero idea what is going on with CM’s product releases, and there is still nothing new (for you, anyway, but read on!) however there is a fun promo launching tomorrow and this is my last chance to remind you of our December Christmas Party crop!

Event Schedule

I would love to celebrate with you this holiday season at one of our December events (I’ll have Christmas music!) For more details on any of these events, you can check out my website - which you might want to bookmark to keep up with all my events!

Tuesday ZOOM crops (10:00 am - noon)* December 12 & 19 and maybe the 26th? I’ll also be around on January 2 but for a while after that you guys will be on your own in the zoom room!

Wednesday Day Crops (9:00 am - 2:30 pm) December 13 & 20 (and maybe the 27th? Not sure we have decided that yet!) $10 and you can bring your own lunch or we’ll go in on a takeout order from whatever place we agree on.

Project Recipe Layout Class (6:00 - 8:00 pm): Tuesday, December 19. $15 to create two double page layouts.

Second December Crop: December 15 & 16 - our Christmas Party - and my sister is coming down from Baltimore to crop with us!! Merry Christmas to me! Wear your festive attire and I’ll be sending out a Google Docs link for you to add your favorite holiday songs to our playlist.
Bonus Third December Crop: December 29 & 30 - our first ever New Year’s Eve Eve party! Feel free to wear something “fancy” (I am thinking I’ll bust out the sequins!) and we’ll do a potluck of NYE party foods for our meals!

I will be traveling for most of January so the only crop weekend we will have is January 26 & 27 when we will have our annual January Jammies crop!

Thursday, February 29 - Sunday, March 3 (begins and ends at 3:00 pm). Retreat fee of $230 includes lunch and dinner during the retreat. Hotel guests have breakfast included with their room rate which is either $139/$149 per night in the all-suite hotel.

Jumpstart January

I have had several requests to do another Jumpstart January challenge, and although I am going to be traveling for most of the month, we are going to attempt to do this again! Every day in the month of January I will share a layout sketch or inspiration idea in a private Facebook group, and you’ll have 24 hours to create your own layout based on that idea, and post it in the group.

Each day I will spin the Wheel of Names for all those who have submitted their layout by the deadline and someone will win $10 in CM credit to spend on my website! At the end of the month everyone who completed all 31 layouts will be entered to win a $100 CM Credit!

Happy Album Circle

I will be continuing my Happy Album Circle into 2024! We have changed things up a little bit in 2023 and will now be meeting (usually) on the second Tuesday of the month in person. We are also going to try a hybrid meeting with the virtual group this year, since Wednesday didn’t seem to be working well for a lot of people and combining events just makes sense.

The in person gatherings will be $10 a month or $100 if you prepay for the whole year. The zoom will be $20 a year or FREE if you purchase your Happy Album planner supplies through me. Details and a sign up link will be coming in my next email — but the plan is that we will meet on Tuesday, January 30 to put together our 2024 books, and then meet monthly on the SECOND Tuesday to keep up with them.

Japan Mystery Box!!

I told you earlier that there were no new products for YOU - but they are adding some things to the Advisor Exclusives category, and one of them is a box full of extra CM Japan products. I have NO IDEA what is in the box, and they have told us that all the boxes will contain different items. Some of them might be things we had in the US that are packaged differently (hmm) but others will be things we have never had for sale here.

If you are feeling adventurous and would like me to order a Japan Mystery Box for you - retail price $82 and will contain $82 worth of products, please EMAIL ME by 11 am on Monday. This will count as a Last Chance item, so if there are some other LC items you’d like to add to your order to qualify for the Crossbody Bag and Pins, let me know that too (total needs to be $140 of LC items only). Because the LC items are limited in quantity things are likely to sell out quickly with this new promo, so you might want to include a few “backup” items on your list in case something you want sells out before I can order. (Note that there is a difference between this MYSTERY box, which is going to be a random assortment of products, and the quarterly SECRET boxes which all have the same things in them!)
