Happy Thanksgiving, scrapbook friends! I am thankful for you! Sorry this is a little later than usual, I try to send it on Sunday morning but my Saturday was VERY slammed and I didn’t get home till after 10 pm to start writing to you. Today (Sunday) I had church then an unplanned but LOVELY afternoon nap, then Christmas Choir practice and now it’s already Sunday night! But hopefully since this is mostly just an event update it’s okay that you didn’t get it earlier!

There is no new collection release this midmonth - which feels very weird! But I know many of us are glad to give our wallets a little time to breathe!! I do love that we got the Black Friday promo out of the way early - and that they have extended it!! There is ONE new product, but it is available to Advisors only - I can order one FOR you but you cannot order it for yourself (although as always, I would love to talk to you about becoming a CM Advisor!). This email will also have details about my annual Open House (which is this week!) and finally registration info for the February/March Rocket City Scrapbook Retreat! Holiday Open House

It’s time for my Annual Open House, in person at my studio in Madison starting this Friday! I will have product displays, make & takes, discounted products, exclusive product bundles, and of course cookies and cocoa! This is also a great time to fill out a holiday wish list so that I can be a Santa’s Helper with your family members that might need some shopping hints!

Monday, November 27, 3 pm - 8 pm

I am trying to figure out how to do a virtual Open House for those of you who don’t live close enough to drop by in person, but so far I haven’t figured out the details on that!

Christmas Card Class

The 2023 Christmas Spirit Card Kit made by Creative Memories sold out in a flash, but we still need Christmas cards! Thankfully my friend Debbie Martin came up with a darling class and she has kindly shared the instructions with me so that I can share them with you!

Join me on Tuesday, December 5 from 6:30-8:00 pm and we’ll put together 12 different cards (with envelopes). You choose if you would like me to pre-cut the kit for you (in which case you just show up - I’ll even provide the adhesive!) or if you’d like to cut your own (in which case you will need to bring your 12” Trimmer).

Wednesday Day Crops (9:00 am - 2:30 pm) Wednesday, November 29, December 6, 13, 20. Is there interest in my doing Wednesday, December 27? I’m not sure what my family’s plans are but it’s a possibility. If you’d be able to come that day (especially if you aren’t usually able to crop on Wednesdays!) please let me know and I’ll see what I can figure out!

Weekend crops
First December Crop: Friday, December 1, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm and/or Saturday, December 2, 10:00 am - 7:00 pm **Please note that the hours for this crop are different from our normal hours due to a conflict of mine!

But to partially make up for that I will be doing THREE weekends in December! The other two are at the normal hours of noon - 9 pm on Friday and 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday.

Second December Crop: December 15 & 16 - our Christmas Party!
Bonus Third December Crop: December 29 & 30 - our first ever New Year’s Eve Eve party!

*Tuesday zoom crops happen whether I am available or not - the “regular” girls who attend will keep you company even if I can’t!

Rocket City Retreat Mission 16

We loved the new retreat venue this past September and so I am thrilled to announce that we will be able to return there twice in 2024!

Thursday, February 29 - Sunday, March 3 (begins and ends at 3:00 pm). Retreat fee of $230 includes lunch and dinner during the retreat. Hotel guests have breakfast included with their room rate which is either $139/$149 per night.

Registration priority goes to those of you who are subscribed to my email list! General registration will open in my Facebook group on December 1st.
