Here’s to an Enchanted Summer!

Hello Scrapbook Friends! Hope you are having a Magical summer so far! I’m sending this to you from Disney World where I have been able to spend some wonderful time with several of my cousins who I haven’t seen in many years, so mine is off to a great start!! Some of my favorite people at one of my favorite places? What’s not to love? And just WAIT until you see the new products! I have jokingly told them at CM that I know I am their favorite - but when you see this you’ll know someone there obviously loves me! :) (And you too, of course!)

Please note that because of the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, the new products will be launching TUESDAY, May 30th at noon central time. If you order right at noon you will be placed in the Queue-it system to wait for your turn to order - I have found that usually this lasts fewer than 10 minutes, but it’s completely cured the website from crashing at launch, so I am thrilled about that part. If you hate the queue, if you wait a couple of hours it will be turned off after the “surge.”

Happy Album Circle: If you are still considering a 2023 Happy Album, it’s not too late! Join us in person on Tuesday, June 6 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm or virtually on Wednesday, June 7 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm.

Wednesday Day Crops: (Almost) Every Wednesday from 9:00 am - 2:30 pm. $10.00. June 7, 14, 28 (No regular day crop on the 21st due to the Longest Day crop - details below).

Weekend Crops: Friday from noon - 9 pm and/or Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
1st June Crop: June 2 & 3. Since I will just be getting back from Disney (literally the day before!) and several of the rest of you have recently been to visit The House of Mouse, we are doing our annual Disney-themed crop! You do NOT have to be working on Disney photos, or need to dress up to participate. However you will be surrounded by others who are (you know many of us are Disney nuts) so be prepared.
2nd June Crop: June 16 & 17. No theme this time, just come crop!

Monthly Layout Class: Tuesday, June 13 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Usually the third Tuesday of the month, we are shifting to the 2nd Tuesday this time (again because of the Longest Day crop). Come create two layouts with the newest Creative Memories collections, using CM’s “Project Recipe” technique (which sadly does not involve food recipes!)

The Longest Day Fundraising Crop! This is a new-to-me experiment, and I hope many of you will be able to join me! 9:00 am - 9:00 pm, Wednesday, June 21. (See next section for more details!)

Weekly no-frills Zoom Crops: Every Tuesday from 10:00 am - noon Central Time (these happen every week, even if I am not able to join you!) Join the Facebook Group for the current month’s zoom link! If you are not on Facebook please email me for the zoom link. These are not classes, just a time for us to hang out together and work on our projects.

Rocket City Scrapbook Retreat: Registration is NOW OPEN and limited to those who are signed up to my newsletter - UNTIL after I get home from Disney, and it will open to everyone on Friday, June 2nd!

Labor Day weekend: Thursday, August 31 - Sunday, September 4 OR Monday, September 5.

We are trying yet another new venue, the SpringHill Suites Downtown Huntsville. Come Thursday-Sunday for $225 or pay just $35 more to have a bonus day and checkout on Monday (which is Labor Day!)

The Longest Day Crop

I have chosen to partner with the Alzheimer’s Association for a 12-hour fundraiser crop on the longest day of the year, Wednesday, June 21.

We will be cropping in person AND on zoom from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm Central time. (Those participating by zoom may be asked to “host” an hour or two of the zoom session!)

100% of the crop fees go to the Alzheimer’s Association. Additionally, I will also donate 25% of the retail price of all Creative Memories products purchased from me on June 21 (in person at my studio or on my CM website) to the organization.

The Longest Day Crop 2023

If you are not interested/available to crop with us during this event, but would like to donate anyway, a donation of any amount would be very much appreciated. Those donations to 100% to the Alzheimer’s Association and I believe are tax deductible - use the same link on the crop page, but just let me know that you don’t actually plan to crop. :)

Tiara Chain BMC

Coordinating with BOTH collections is the Enchanted Wizard & Princess Variety Mat pack. Half of the mats coordinate with the Wizard collection and half with the Princess collection. My guess is that the reverse sides will be relatively neutral so even if you don’t “need” both collections you’ll be able to use the rest of them.

I think this is either going to be one of those “I have to have it all!” or “none of this applies to me” collections. If you’re the former, it definitely makes sense to choose the Buy-it-All-Bundle and not only do you ensure you get the complete collection (not including the albums!) but you also save 10% off if you buy it within the first ten days!! Seriously though please don’t wait ten days - I have a feeling this collection will be HOT!

Already own the Border Maker System but looking for an excuse to get a second? I have found it’s really nice to have one system at home and one that lives in my crop stuff. (Hope that helps!)

That’s it for this time! I am taking time out of my Disney vacation to send this email to you, so I hope that helps you know how much I appreciate all of you!! It is because of the products you order from me that I am able to do this as my full-time job, which allows me to host multiple events, keep up with email and Facebook and YouTube. I will be placing an order (from inside Disney’s Magic Kingdom!) as soon as products go live on Tuesday.
