May the 4th be the start of a Scrapbooking Summer!

Happy May, scrapbook friends! As promised, here I am in your inbox again, with our BIG May release coming tomorrow! It even includes some items that were not part of our sneak peek in Cancun, so it was a surprise for me, too!

This month is National Scrapbook Month - the official NSD is the first Saturday in May, but because of my trip to Cancun, and (turns out) a LOT of you had big things going on this past weekend, I am so glad I postponed our celebrations to later in the month!

So read on for details about May’s events and the fun new products coming Monday!

Event Schedule

I know this is a CRAZY busy time of year, but I hope you can squeeze in a cropping event at my studio in Madison, Alabama:

The only events that traditionally sell out are NSD and Croptoberfest, so if you are ever feeling spontaneous and want to sign up for something the day before, if the Google form will let you select that date, there is still space! (I do request that if you decide to sign up the day of an event you send me an email or text so I will know to expect you - I don’t always check the form the day of a crop!)

National Scrapbook Day is almost full, but I am doing the best I can to squeeze in as many people as I can! Thanks to the couple of you who are going to try to share a table so that we can fit in more croppers!

I have had a couple of people shift their NSD registration so I think I can squeeze in two more people for the first NSD - please contact me separately before you sign up since I have turned off registration for that one.

The Longest Day Fundraiser Crop

Thanks to all those of you who filled out the form regarding our The Longest Day fundraiser to benefit the Alzheimer’s Assocition - I am working out the details now and hope to open registration in mid-May. Until then I’m still trying to gauge interest as far as people who might want to participate in person or virtually on June 27 & 28. If you think you might want to participate, please fill out the form at this link, just so I know where to focus my energy.

Digital Content is BACK!

Okay, I will admit to you that I am still perplexed that CM has decided to stop selling digital content all the time, and are only going to release it twice a year, but at least they are bringing it back so that those of us who need to complete our collections can get the kits we missed! It’s currently available on the website under the Digital tab.

Some of the products that are available again haven’t been for sale for a long time, so if you are a digi scrapper you might want to check it out!

This is also the window where you can create custom Album Pages or Album Covers, but only in May! If you miss it this time I think you’ll have to wait till October for the next chance,

(I do understand why the custom products are limited - not enough people were ordering them to make it worth saving space on the production line year round).

Relax Into Summer Collection

Summer is just around the corner (I know my teacher friends are counting down the days!) and this is a lovely fresh collection with Mediterranean vibes to help you document all those summer memories.

All American Blast!

Our annual patriotic collection this year is All-American Blast! I have to say that just from looking at the photo above that tie-dye paper is calling my name!

You may recognize the album cover - it was released on a Black Shimmer bookcloth a few years ago with Sparks of Magic, and now they’ve put the same design on Classic Blue bookcloth, and it’s perfect for patriotic photos! Or, if you’re like me, perfect for a “magical” theme park vacation that happened to happen over the Independence Day holiday last year. :) Thanks CM!

There’s also a full (12 piece) Designer Paper Pack, Stickers and Embellishments. If the past is any history, the patriotic stuff does tend to sell through pretty quickly so if you think you’re going to want this one you might not want to wait too long to decide!

Finally we also have just our second Card Kit of the year, Motivating Moments. The lovely soft colors of these cards (and look at those pretty envelopes!) will be great for anytime you want to send a note of encouragement to a friend or family member - and they come packaged in a beautiful box, great for giving the kit (or the completed cards!) as a gift.

Coming on FRIDAY

This Friday, the 9th, is the May Virtual Crop, and in conjunction with that CM is bringing back Secret Box #1 AND the second shipment of Secret Box #2. You can pick up your order at any of my events starting with this weekend’s crop. Hopefully I’ll have it by Thursday (I usually do) but sometimes my boxes don’t arrive till Friday so check with me before you head over to the studio.

As always, if you are NOT local, or you are unable to pick up your order in person, I’m sorry I can’t waive your shipping charges - I know none of us like to pay those!! However I am happy to share some of the CM credits that YOU help me earn and if you email me with “I am planning to order” I will gift you a $10 CM credit to help offset the shipping.
