Happy November, scrapbook friends! Where on earth did October go?? It’s been a whirlwind, hasn’t it? And now CM is kicking off Black Friday early, which makes me feel like it’s already Thanksgiving!
Black Friday is always the biggest promo of the year, so I hope you’ve been making a list of things to stock up on to help you earn one (or more than one!) of the gifts this month! We also have the new Winter Bliss collection and the second set of inks with coordinating brushes, new Gratitude cards and a fun Kids Pen Pal box perfect for holiday gift giving.
Finally, if you are local, I hope you will be able to stop by my annual Open House either the Friday/Saturday after Thanksgiving, or the following Tuesday (especially for those of you who might be traveling for the holiday). Read on!

In spite of the holidays I will continue to hold regular crops at my studio in Madison, Alabama and we would love to have you join us!

Reminder: If you or someone in your household has been impacted by the government shutdown, please know you are welcome to attend my Wednesday day crops free of charge for the duration of the shutdown. Scrapbooking is about community, connection, and creativity—and I’d love for you to have a place to relax and recharge during this time. Please let me know if you plan to join us so that I’ll be sure to save you a spot.

Wednesday November 5 & 19. No frills, just time to work on your current projects. Bring your lunch or we can go in together on a DoorDash order from a restaurant we agree on. (No crop on the 12th because I will be out of town, or on the 26th because of Thanksgiving).
Happy Album: Tuesday, November 4, 6:00 - 8:00 pm Come work on your 2025 Scrap Journal or any small project you would like to bring.
Weekend Crops: November 7 & 8 and November 21 & 22

2025 Holiday Open House
Friday, November 28 (Black Friday) noon - 6 pm
Saturday, November 29th (Small Business Saturday) 10 am - 4 pm
Tuesday, December 2nd 3 pm - 6 pm
If you are local to the Huntsville/Madison area or willing to travel a bit, I would love to have you visit me at my annual Holiday Open House! I’ll have displays of all the great products Creative Memories has to offer, free gifts for attending, door prize drawings and make & take projects. This is also the only time of year that I have discounts on product bundles (some exclusive and retired products) and of course everyone’s favorite $5 and $1 bargain bins!
This year I would like to offer more of a hands-on project for those who are interested, with the Grateful Giving Project Guidebook. You can choose to create the set of three layouts (plus a bonus card) in person at the Open House, or you can take home a pre-packaged kit to complete on your own. There is a $20 materials fee for this project and I do request that you sign up for it in advance so that I will know how many kits to prepare.
It helps me to know when to expect people, so if you will take the time to fill out the Open House RSVP form, you’ll get three extra door prize tickets. Bring a friend (new to me) and you’ll get three more! There is also the option to get a text message reminder the day before so you don’t miss out on the fun. :)

Black Friday is here early! Starting Monday at noon CT until noon on November 14th (or While Supplies Last!) you can earn an exclusive product bundle with any $150 order on the website! Please note that these products will NOT be offered for sale, the only way to get them is FREE!
This is a great time to stock up on things like refill pages, adhesive and cardstock, or any product you might have missed when it was first released. Remember you can start filling your cart now (just make sure you are signed in!) so that when the promo goes live at noon you’ll just need to add any of the new items and you’ll be all set!
(Note that the most popular Black Friday bundles often sell out before the promo period ends, so if you have your heart set on one, I wouldn’t wait. But they also sometimes surprise us with a “substitute” bundle if one sells out fast, so if none of these really grab you, it might be worth waiting!) |

If the Black Friday themes are just what you’ve been looking for, you can purchase coordinating 12x12 Album Covers for each of the three collections - they are not included with the bundles, and of course, there is no minimum spend level required to purchase these, nor do you have to have earned the bundles.

Although it feels like it’s barely autumn here in North Alabama, that means winter is just around the corner - and I’m hearing rumors that this might be an especially snowy winter. Of course that might just mean snow that lasts for two days instead of melting overnight, but when you rarely get snow (and you’re a scrapbooker!) that sounds quite appealing!!
I also had the opportunity to create the Project Recipe for this collection and I had a lot of fun playing with the cute Snow Boots BMC - I need to find a way to turn it into Army Boots! |

The NEW Pen Pal Kit is the perfect way to connect with the kids in your life! Each kit includes two sets of cards - one for the child and one for the adult pen pal, a sheet of stickers and an instruction sheet to help you use the prompts on the cards to help encourage conversation.
Kids can choose which card they want to send you, follow the prompt on the card, then mail it to their pen pal. In return, you (or whoever the pen pal is) can reply with the coordinating card, and both of you will have the fun of getting mail! |

This is only a PRE-order form, and I will turn it off just before noon on Monday. At this season of thankfulness, I am yet again reminded of all the wonderful people I have met through Creative Memories. There is something so powerful about being around others sharing precious memories and being creative together!
I also know that I owe a huge part of my business success to all those of you who have introduced me to your friends and welcomed newcomers into our cropping groups, both in person and online. I also haven’t forgotten those of you who watch my YouTube channel or follow me on social media. It constantly amazes me how friendships can be built through these formats that didn’t even exist when I started my CM career back in 2002! And yet now I get to know SO many amazing fellow scrapbookers!
I hope this month will give you many opportunities to reflect on all the things you are thankful for, and please know that as I count my blessings, all of you, my dear scrapbook friends, will be high on the list!
