Happy last day of May, scrapbook friends! So once again CM has surprised me with yet another new product release. I hate “spamming” you and hope you don’t mind the emails when there are new products!
There is also a “Flash Sale” going on right now of 20% off ALL solid cardstock and shimmer cardstock! That ends at midnight TONIGHT (Sunday, May 31). They’ve told us they plan to do a lot of these over the summer, so the best way to keep up with things like that is to join my Nicole’s Scrapbook Friends Facebook group.
Just FYI they are telling us to prepare for THREE weeks in a row of new products, the 1st, 8th and 15th. Then two weeks off. I can’t quite figure out their rhythm. Also, starting on June 8th the new product launch will be at 9:00 am CDT instead of noon, which should allow the people at the warehouse to get started earlier in the day, and that will mean we get our packages sooner!
This week we have some VERY FUN new travel bundles, which of course are not licensed by Disney but OH every one of them will work great for Disney or Universal photos. I love them!

In honor of our Memories Matter Fundraiser (more on that below) I will also be donating 20% of the retail cost of any CM products purchased on my website or in person during the month of June. Wednesday June 3, 10, 17, 24, July 1. No frills, just time to work on your current projects. Bring your lunch or we’ll go in together on a DoorDash order. $10.
Weekend Crops: Friday noon - 9 pm and/or Saturday 10 am - 6 pm
June 5/6 (pizza crop - we’ll chip in to order pizza Friday night and do a sandwich bar on Saturday)
June 26/27 (potluck crop)
Project Recipe Class: 6:00 - 8:00 pm

Come create two double page layouts using some of CM’s newest collections. I’ll provide the “ingredients” and the directions and we’ll build the layouts together. $20 basic or $35 deluxe (which includes 2 packs of stickers).

Memories Matter Alzheimer’s Fundraiser

My in-person Alzheimer’s fundraiser crop on June 12/13 is SOLD OUT but I would love to have you join us for the virtual event on June 20th. All the videos are pre-recorded so even if you can’t be there on the 20th you’ll be able to catch up at your own convenience.
I am also opening up a Zoom room for the whole time of the fundraiser - you are welcome to join us for all of the day or part of it.

Coming Monday we have six Adventure themed bundles (one paper pack and one sticker pack, sold together only) that CM is saying will work for lots of travel themes, but you know that for ME they’re all going to be perfect for my Disney and Universal scrapbooks! There are also two new Border Punches and one re-release border punch, plus each of the collections has a suggested tool that will coordinate with it. A couple of them are older BMCs and CM has put them on an amazing sale ($8!)
Choose from Making a Splash for your pool photos (or waterpark, or Splash Mountain!), Enchanted Royalty for touring European castles (or the ones in Disney parks, or the princesses who “live” in them), Deep Space Drift for documenting the Artemis mission (or Space Mountain!), Spellbound Stories for the little witches and wizards who visit your house at Halloween (or Harry Potter world), Medieval Moments for ancient ruins or historic homes (or more princesses or Medieval Times dinners), or The Grand Exhibit for trips to art museums, your child’s art show at school or anything that needs an elegant look! (This one I admit I couldn’t come up with a Disney connection although I tried!) |

The two new border punches are called Out in Space, which is a border of planets and stars, and Rustic Cobblestone which cuts an outline (the “grout” lines) of cobblestones or bricks. Too bad I didn’t think to take photos of the cobblestone streets I had to drag my suitcase over while I was in Copenhagen earlier this month!
They’ve also brought back the popular Whitecapped Waves border punch from 2024 if you missed it back then.

Which one is your favorite?? I’m kinda liking the Deep Space Drift one - looks like I’m on the Starship Enterprise going warp 9! But the Grand Exhibit with the picture frames on it would be great for a Europe trip! Maybe another year!

That’s it - just this “mini” release which is of course a whole bunch of stuff. As a Disney fan you know I need it ALL but you may not “need” it. :) We do have another release on the 8th and 15th so be ready for my emails to come every Sunday for a little while. I hope to get back to the twice a month schedule soon — my wallet for sure hopes I will!
In the meantime I hope those of you who are local can make it to one of my cropping events this month, and that ALL of you will be able to join us for the Memories Matter fundraiser on June 20th! We’ve already raised $40,000 and our goal is to beat last year’s total of $53,000! I have seen many of the layouts that our designers are teaching and they’re all beautiful!
Don’t forget that I’m giving 20% of the total retail amount of all purchases on my CM website OR in person to the Memories Matter fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association, if you need an “excuse” to shop for a good cause! :)
