Time for some Gingerbread Fun!!

Happy Sunday, scrapbook friends! I know it’s unusual for you to hear from me two weeks in a row (and I think Secret Box #3 is coming out in a week, which means I’ll need to email you again - you know how hard I try not to spam you!) but I hope you’ll agree that this product release is worth an extra email!

The CM Birthday promo that I told you about last week runs through TUESDAY at noon CT, but we have the fun fun Gingerbread Fun collection and some fantastic new organizers coming Monday! Event Schedule

We had a lovely time at Croptoberfest Session 1 at my studio in Madison, Alabama and I’m looking forward to Session 2 on Thursday. If you are registered for that session, please be watching for an email from me, turns out the BJHS Homecoming Parade is on Thursday at 5:00 and that will impact people’s arrival, so I am trying to figure out what changes I’ll be making to the schedule. You might get an extra hour of cropping time. :)

If you didn’t get signed up for Croptoberfest before it sold out, there are several other options for cropping this month. Pre-registration is required to make sure you have a spot, but it’s always worth contacting me if you find yourself available at the last minute!

Reminder: If you or someone in your household has been impacted by the government shutdown, please know you are welcome to attend my Wednesday day crops free of charge for the duration of the shutdown. Scrapbooking is about community, connection, and creativity—and I’d love for you to have a place to relax and recharge during this time. We had one newly-available-on-Wednesday person join us this past week, and it was fun for us to have a new face and hopefully fun for her not to be stuck at home. Wednesday Day Crops: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Wednesday October 15*, 22, 29. No frills, just time to work on your current projects. Bring your lunch or we can go in together on a DoorDash order from a restaurant we agree on. I will actually not be there on the 15th, I have to take Alex to his surgical follow-up at Vanderbilt, but my regular Wednesday crew is going to cover for me. However, there is an adjustment to the schedule so still get with me ahead of time please.

Weekend Crop: Friday, noon - 9:00 pm and/or Saturday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. October 24 and/or 25. You’re welcome to sign up for both days (and leave your stuff out overnight!) or choose just one of them.

Project Recipe Layout Class, 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Tuesday, October 28th. (This is a change from the date I had in my last email - I forgot that I have a conflict on the 21st, sorry!)
Come create two double-page layouts using some of CM’s newest product collections for $15. Add on this month’s Simple Page Kit for just $5 more (regularly $6).

Gingerbread Fun

It’s here! The collection I’ve been looking forward to for weeks, Gingerbread Fun! This is the reason I had to leave my son in the hospital to go home to finish the Project Playbook — I know they could have had someone else step in, but it’s SO CUTE and I really really wanted to get to keep the Playbook! :) I hope you’ll love the layouts I created with it, and have a lot of fun creating your own layouts too! (And don’t think I’m a terrible mom for leaving him - my husband came up and took an overnight shift which was a good thing for both him and Alex, AND I also got a much appreciated night to sleep in my own bed halfway through the 12-day stay at Vanderbilt. So it was a blessing for me to be “forced” to come home for one day!)

This collection includes Designer Paper, Stickers, Mat Pack and Embellishments, and the darling Gingerbread Border Punch! If you purchase the Buy-it-All Bundle, you’ll also get a Sampler Pack of cardstock which gives you all the papers you’ll need to create the BONUS Project Playbook layouts, plus of course the FREE Playbook itself, and all at 10% off the regular retail cost of purchasing the items separately.

The printed playbook is FREE with purchase of the Buy-it-All Bundle, or can be purchased separately once the Bundle is no longer available. Once the printed playbook is sold out (which often happens before the rest of the bundle) there is a digital download available — and the digital downloads for several other of our recent collections are still on the website if you missed them.

Cooked With Love

You may remember that last year we had a fun Happy Album sized (now called the Scrap Journal) Recipe Album kit that was very popular and sold out very quickly. This year they have brought it back, with the Cooked With Love bundle, which has a slightly different album cover plus the addition of divider tabs to keep your sections organized.

I made recipe albums for my adult kids last year and it was so fun to be able to share some of our family favorites with them! I will try to do a YouTube album flip-through of the finished product soon so you can see how I used the album.

NEW Organizers!!

This past summer we had a gift with purchase promo with some Rainbow Dot Collapsible Tote Bags, and now those same bags are available to anyone who would like to purchase them, in classic CM black with a blue interior. The Deluxe Bag (20"L x 14"W x 11"H) is the biggest - and it’s really big! It will fit four of the Pod Inserts inside — but frankly it will be too heavy to carry with that many inserts. :)

The Medium Bag (18"L x 10.5"W x 11"H) is comparable to some of the Utility Totes that many of us used to get from Thirty-One, before they sadly shut down. It’s a great all-purpose size for carrying scrapbook supplies.

The Mini Bag (13.5"L x 6"W x 6"H) is just the right size for carrying the boxes of photos I get from Walgreens, or the CM Border Punches inside their boxes. Plus it is super cute. :)

If you’ve been around CM for a while (like, since the old version of the company, pre- 2010 or so) you may be familiar with the POD cases. Back then, these were only available to Advisors (even though we were called Consultants then!) but now anyone can purchase these useful organizers.

The Large POD Case (13"L × 4.5"W × 6.375"H) fits sticker packs, rulers, punches and borders. The Medium POD Case (10.5"L × 4.5"W × 6.875"H) is great for Mat Packs, Peekaboo Pockets and small tools. The Small POD Case (6.5"L × 4.5"W × 5.125"H) will fit Embellishment packs and Card Trio Kits.

Each of the sizes also has available Dividers made of sturdy polypropylene (photo safe!) which you can write on with a regular pencil to separate items in the case — and if you change your mind, the pencil can be erased over and over and you can write something else.

The POD Cases also come in a Buy-it-All bundle if you know you want one of each.

*The reason POD is capitalized is that it’s an acronym - I can’t exactly remember what it stands for. Something like Professional Organizing and Display, maybe? But if you’ve wondered, that’s why. :)

Finally we have a new Medium POD Tote (13-3/4"L x 11-1/4"W x 6-1/4"H and Medium POD Insert (13"L x 10-1/2"W x 3-1/8"H) but for some reason these did not make it onto the CM info page (which I will link to below!)

The Medium POD Tote is the same size as the Rainbow Dot Border Punch Organizer that came out a few weeks ago, but WITHOUT the foam insert for the punches! I know several of you have hoped for that. Two of the Medium POD Inserts will fit in the tote (or you can just use one, or none!)

Yet again there are some older punches that will be on SALE for 50% off - Full of Love, Lemon, Pineapple and Champagne Toast. Regularly $25.00, from noon Monday through noon on October 24th (or while they last) they’re just $12.50.

Custom Digital Artwork and Products

Lastly, it’s time for the return of digital - and for those who love the digital products, I think this is always a test of whether there is really a demand for the digital products. I know that when we had the digital stuff last Spring I MEANT to order some items and then just didn’t get around to it! So this time I am determined to get it done! We have till November 30th!

There are some specific ordering dates so be sure to pay attention to those if you need anything by a deadline. Details are on the info page linked to in the next section.

For local customers who are able to pick up your order at one of the events at my studio in Madison, PLEASE order on this google form: Local Pickup Pre-Order Form. It’s so helpful to me to have everything in one place when I’m trying to order right at a new release.

This is only a PRE-order form, and I will turn it off just before noon on Monday. If you need to order something at a different time, just contact me by email or text and I’ll add it to one of my future orders (I generally order at least once a week!) if I don’t already have what you need in my inventory.

If you are not able to pick up your order (because you aren’t local, or you are just too impatient to wait till we can get together) I am happy to gift you a $10 CM Credit to help offset your shipping charged. This has been a momentous few weeks for me, and for other people I care deeply about, and it’s really made me think about what is really important in my life. That’s PEOPLE.
