If you are local to the Huntsville/Madison area or willing to travel a bit, I would love to have you visit me at my annual Holiday Open House! I’ll have displays of all the great products Creative Memories has to offer, free gifts for attending, door prize drawings and make & take projects. This is also the only time of year that I have discounts on product bundles (some exclusive and retired products) and of course everyone’s favorite $5 and $1 bargain bins!

This year I would like to offer more of a hands-on project for those who are interested, with the Grateful Giving Project Guidebook. You can choose to create the set of three layouts (plus a bonus card) in person at the Open House, or you can take home a pre-packaged kit to complete on your own. There is a $20 materials fee for this project and I do request that you sign up for it in advance so that I will know how many kits to prepare.

IF you purchased all four of the Secret Boxes in 2025, you are now eligible to purchase Box #5. Originally this wasn’t going to arrive until December, but in the meantime CM has undertaken a huge website renovation, and they’ll be switching platforms in December. So they have moved up the release of Box 5 hoping to prevent any glitches that go along with the move.

In order for them to track who is eligible for the Secret Box this time, you had to have purchased all of your boxes the same way. If you ordered directly on the website, you’ll see the option to buy the box under the NEW tab on the website starting Monday, November 17th at noon CT. If you ordered through me (you will get a separate email!) have no fear, I will order the box for you and you can pick it up in December.

PLEASE NOTE that in an effort to give us all a break during Thanksgiving week, the boxes are going on sale on Monday, however they are not quite ready to ship yet, so will begin shipping on the 24th. I’m sure it makes sense to someone. :)

I have zero knowledge of the contents of the box but usually the graphic gives a clue. This one looks pretty fun and celebratory!

Coming Monday as an Advisor Exclusive is a new Layout Ruler and a fun new Eternal Blue Cutting Mat! Many scrapbookers use a T-square ruler to make sure that the elements on their layouts are straight, and now there is one that has guides along both ends so that you can use it with the 13” Cutting Mat and get a straight line every time.

This is NOT a cutting tool (although you could probably use a blade and cut along side it), rather a way to keep your layouts lined up.

I am limited to one set (which I am going to keep for myself, sorry!) on Monday, however starting Wednesday if they are still available I will be able to purchase additional pieces. If there are enough quantities remaining after Advisors have a chance to purchase them, they WILL be available to customers in December.

Many of us remember the old wavy patterns from the Custom Cutting System from 20 years ago (yikes!) and CM is bringing those back - again (and I think it must be a quantity issue??) for Advisors only at this point but with the possibility that I might be able to order extras.

These will also not ship until the week of the 24th, so don’t worry if it takes a little longer than you’re used to.

Also - notice the sample layout! CM “accidentally” gave us a sneak peek of a new collection - my guess is we are getting something Tropical hopefully in early December!

I know many of you are anxiously awaiting the return of the Jumbo Tape Runner case, and for weeks CM has told us that it is returning in November. However, in our Advisor email on Friday they’ve changed that to December.

If you are on my “wait list” be assured that the moment I hear CM has these back in stock I will be ordering yours for you — as well as a few extra, and of course the refills. BUT also, of course, the Repo refills are also sold out and won’t be back in until January. I love it that we surprise them with the things we want, but wish that didn’t mean we had to be PATIENT! :)
