Happy Almost December, scrapbook friends! Thanks to all of you who were able to stop by my Open House this weekend - it was SO fun to have a minute to say hi, even though I feel bad that some of you were there when things were hectic and I didn’t have as much time to visit as I had hoped.

If you weren’t able to make it I have one more session on Tuesday afternoon/evening from 3:00 pm till 8:00 pm (which will overlap with my monthly Happy Album Circle) and I’d love for you to stop by, get a free gift from me, have a cookie or two (homemade!) and check out our crop space.

For those of my customers who are not local, I am working on something for you too - so if you have ordered from me in the past 24 months watch for a separate email with details on that within the next week or so!

Event Schedule

All events are held at my studio in Madison, Alabama, and drop in shoppers are always welcome during any scheduled event.

To help me ensure that I know who to expect, I do all registrations/crop fee payments via Google Forms, so once you’ve looked at the options please click the link at the bottom of this section to sign up!

Come create two double page layouts using some of CM’s newest collections. I’ll provide the “ingredients” and the directions and we’ll build the layouts together. Add on this month’s Simple Page Kit for an additional $5.

Weekend Crops: December 5 & 6 and 19 & 20
Friday, noon - 9:00 pm and/or Saturday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

You’re welcome to sign up for both days (and leave your stuff out overnight!) or choose just one of them. We’ll be doing pizza on the 5th and a sandwich bar on the 6th, but for the 19th/20th we’ll be having our Christmas Party and potluck.

January’s crop will be the 9th & 10th, then the inaugural Winterfest Staycation Retreats will be the 22nd - 24th and the 29th - 31st.

First annual (I hope!) Winterfest!!

Those of you who have attended my hotel retreats over the past few years have seen the struggles I’ve had to find a venue that is affordable and has enough room AND provides us with a good value for our money.

After talking to many of you over these past few months, I’ve decided that we are going to try something new for 2026, and that is a “staycation” retreat at my Madison studio. The first one is Winterfest in January and we will see if we like it as much as a hotel retreat!

Dinner all three nights and lunch on Friday and Saturday will be included in your retreat fee. We’ll have sketch challenges and the prize wheel, a paper buffet, door prizes and of course goody bags with exclusive CM items! But this time instead of having to schlep your stuff through the hallways of a hotel, you can pull up in front of my studio and unload right at the door!

Space is limited to 22 croppers per session so to accommodate as many people as fit at a hotel retreat I am running two identical events, please choose the version that works best for you:

Thursday 3 pm - 8 pm, Friday and Saturday 10 am - 8 pm.
Session One: January 22 - 24
Session Two: January 29 - 31

Winterfest Staycation Retreat

Tropical Garden Collection

Oh, the weather outside may be frightful, but thinking of tropical getaways can be delightful! When it’s a new collection that includes some of my favorite colors, that’s even better!

Launching on Monday is the new Tropical Garden collection! This one reminds me of the Painted Garden collection we had a couple of years ago and I’m so happy to see these colors coming back to brighten up my layouts!

This is a full collection with two paper packs (Designer and Tone-on-Tone), mats, stickers and embellishments. If you purchase the Buy-it-All bundle you will also get the two new punches: the Hummingbird & Flowers Border punch, and the Tropical Flowers Chain BMC. Not included in the bundle is the beautiful Spruce Green Album cover with a dark green matte, white semi-gloss and orchid metallic foil floral design.

BIG discounts on lots of products!

CM has big things in store for 2026 (including a new, updated website!) but to help them as they move forward into the second half of the decade, they are trying to clear out some of the products that have been sitting around for a while. Starting Monday at noon, look under the SALE tab on the website where you’ll find over 175 products on sale for as much as 60% off! This will include many of our older products and includes punches (BMC, border and stand-alone), Paper Packs, Mats, Stickers, Embellishments, Pens, Recipe Templates AND some collection bundles that CM has created (downloadable) Project Playbooks for.

You should be able to pre-load your cart prior to the launch and the prices will change once the sale goes into effect. (But maybe don’t quote me on that - they have had some issues with the website, so it’s possible there will be some hiccups?)
