Hooray! It’s May! Hard to believe but we’re well into Spring, and I know some of you schoolteachers are counting down the days till Summer Vacation! (Someone told me 19 more days at NSD this past weekend?)

Speaking of NSD - session one was GREAT fun, and I loved having a couple of new croppers with us. Session two is coming up this weekend, and we have a lot of new-to-me people attending, which I am super excited about! I love making new scrapbook friends! Unfortunately for the rest of you, that means the event is sold out, but I have lots of other events coming up!

The sign on the building still says KRAV • MAGA which is the name of the previous self-defense studio, but now that we have a brand new HVAC system (hooray!) maybe I’ll be brave enough to invest in the insanely expensive sign the complex requires me to buy!

Happy Album Circle: If you are still considering a 2023 Happy Album, it’s not too late! Join us in person on Tuesday, May 2 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm or virtually on Wednesday, May 3 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm.

Wednesday Day Crops: (Almost) Every Wednesday from 9:00 am - 2:30 pm. $10.00. May 3, 10, 17, 24. (No crop on 5/31 as I will be out of town).

Weekend Crops: Friday from noon - 9 pm and/or Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

2nd May Crop: May 19 & 20.
1st June Crop: June 2 & 3. Since I will just be getting back from Disney (literally the day before!) and several of the rest of you have recently been to visit The House of Mouse, we are doing our annual Disney-themed crop!

The Longest Day Fundraising Crop! This is a new-to-me experiment, and I hope many of you will be able to join me! 9:00 am - 9:00 pm, Wednesday, June 21.

Weekly no-frills Zoom Crops: Every Tuesday from 10:00 am - noon Central Time (these happen every week, even if I am not able to join you!) Join the Facebook Group for the current month’s zoom link! If you are not on Facebook please email me for the zoom link. These are not classes, just a time for us to hang out together and work on our projects.

Rocket City Scrapbook Retreat: Our next retreat will be Labor Day Weekend, Thursday, August 31 - Monday, September 4 at the Spring Hill Suites in Huntsville, Alabama. Registration for this will open up in my next email on May 14, so be sure to watch for that if you are hoping to join us! Those of you subscribed to my email list get first priority registration for the retreats - starting on the 18th it will open up to everyone.

The Longest Day Crop

I know many of us have people we love who have been impacted by Alzheimer’s disease. I have chosen to partner with the Alzheimer’s Association for a 12-hour fundraiser crop on the longest day of the year, Wednesday, June 21.

We will be cropping in person AND on zoom (this is a new experiment for me, hopefully it’ll go well!) from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm Central time.
