America’s Birthday but the gifts are for YOU!

Happy Birthday America! I remember the Bicentennial year so well, and definitely don’t feel old enough to be here at the Semiquincentennial! (And yes, I had to look up that word - my spell check doesn’t believe it’s real!)

I usually send these on Sundays, but my weekend is all mixed up and so I’m sending it early, hope that doesn’t mix up YOUR weekend! :)

It was nice to have a couple of weeks off from CM product releases, my wallet breathed a sigh of relief and I’m sure my UPS guy has been worried about me, but coming Monday is our summer You-Pick-It Promo where you can choose a free gift with qualifying orders on my website - don’t forget that ordering opens at 9:00 am now instead of noon!

Also for my local croppers - I am going to be out of town for some family events out in Utah for most of the month, so our cropping schedule is pretty abbreviated, but I still managed to squeeze in two weekend crops this month. Hope you can join us for one of them!

July 31 & August 1 (potluck crop)

Project Recipe Class: 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Tuesday, July 28 Come create two double page layouts using some of CM’s newest collections. I’ll provide the “ingredients” and the directions and we’ll build the layouts together. $20 basic or $35 deluxe (which includes 2 packs of stickers).

Memories Matter Alzheimer’s Fundraiser

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to everyone who participated in our Memories Matter fundraiser! I am overjoyed to tell you that our final total as of June 30th came to $66,881 in the USA plus $12,645 in Canada for a grand total of $79,526! Never underestimate the power of scrapbookers!!

We may even be adding to that total as I don’t think the money from the t-shirt sales has been submitted yet, plus I know there are a few other CM Advisors who held in-person events who are still planning to donate.

I am SO very proud of the way our community came together for this great cause!!

You Pick It Promo

Every summer Creative Memories gives us a fun gift with purchase promo where YOU get to choose which of the free gifts you like the best! The only bad thing about this is when I want them ALL!

Starting Monday, July 6 at 9:00 am Central time, through Friday, July 16, for every $150 you spend on my Creative Memories website, you can choose one of four exclusive gifts FREE!

PLEASE NOTE that almost every year CM has sold out of one or more of the gifts on the first day, so if you “desperately” want one of these, I wouldn’t wait too long to order. (And don’t forget my “shipping offset” customer special for anyone who orders through my website - details in the last section of this email!) Remember that the new products now launch at 9 am instead of noon! You might want to set an alarm - I am going to!

This year’s choices are SO good - but that makes them SO hard to choose from! (In past years there has also been a “backup” option that they bring out when the original offerings sell through. I have ZERO insider knowledge, just past experience, but you may want to be aware of that. I will likely not send an email if/when the options change, so keep an eye on the website and my Facebook page! But I will be offline for most of next week for a family event so maybe keep an eye on some other Advisor’s pages too. :)

Reminder that none of these items will be available for purchase separately, they do that on purpose to entice you to shop! This is a great time to stock up on things like page refills, adhesives and trimmer mats. :)

Option 1: Cool Serenity 2 Bundle! Cool Serenity was one of my favorite collections many years ago, and I’m excited to get to use it again! This bundle includes Designer Paper, Stickers and the Tropical Fish Border punch.

I will say that now that I have the Layout Studio I am not as excited by this, but I also know that not everyone is interested in that, so this might be exactly what you need to define your workspace!

Please note that CM says that you can technically cut on this but it is not a self-healing surface, which makes me think it’s not the same as our existing 13x13 cutting mats - but it does have a non-slip background which is very nice!

Free Spirit

Celebrate sunny days with the new Free Spirit collection. Creative Memories is calling this a “bold, retro-boho” collection and I think those are the best words to describe this - kinda 70s, kinda 90s, and definitely full of personality! I even feel like there’s an argument for some Halloween layouts in there with the yellow/orange and purple.

The collection includes Designer Paper, Stickers, Laser Cut Borders, Mats, Foiled Embellishments and two punches - the Blooming Lace Chain BMC and the Wild Daisy Border Punch. New Inking Stencils

If you’re collecting the inking stencils, the next set of four is coming Monday. I keep meaning to try these - if you’re a pro at stenciling, I’d love to see what you’ve done with them! But for only $5 each they’re an affordable way to try it out!

This week’s release includes the Stars, Grid, Festive Bursts and Diamond Lattice 5x5 stencils.

Dual COLOR pens!

If you know anything about me, you know how much I love COLOR and I love having lots of pen choices. I mostly use the fine-tip side of my pens for journaling, and I love the idea of only needing to squeeze in three more pens where I would otherwise need to fit six!

Choose from Pink/Purple, Orange/Red or Blue/Green.

But that’s not all!
