Squeeze the Day with Creative Memories!

Happy first day of Daylight Savings time! My least favorite day of the year! I had the Rocket City Scrapbook Retreat this weekend which means that hour we lost was an hour of precious retreat time! Not fair! Also, although I hoped I would have time to work on this email to you while I was there, I just did not! So I’m coming to you a little bit late, but hopefully in enough time for you to decide what you “need”!

This is the midmonth email so I don’t go into as much detail about future events, but you can check on my website if you want to know more than what I have listed here. All events are held at my venue in Madison, Alabama unless otherwise noted.

Tuesday, March 14, 21 & 28: ZOOM crops (10:00 am - noon)*
Wednesdays, March 15 & 28 and TUESDAY, March 21: Day Crop (9:00 am - 2:30 pm)
Tuesday, March 21: Project Recipe Class (6-8 pm)

Let’s celebrate how LUCKY we are to be scrapbookers at my annual St. Patrick’s Day crop! Friday, March 17 (noon - 9 pm) and/or Saturday, March 18 (10 am to 6 pm).

Next month’s regular crop will be April 7 & 8 (yes, Easter weekend), and our second crop is replaced with National Scrapbook Day (read the next section!)

*Zoom crops happen every Tuesday morning whether I am able to attend or not - several of the girls go on without me!

SQUEEZE the Day!

Get ready to “Squeeze the Day” with our fun citrus-themed National Scrapbook Day celebrations! This year I am offering both in-person AND virtual multi-day events, so hopefully everyone who would like to come play with us will be able to!

In person at my crop studio in Madison Alabama.
Either April 27-29 OR May 4-6
$100 event fee will get you 25 hours of crop time, four catered meals, goody bag with exclusive CM items and the exclusive NSD Project Recipe and Sketch Book!

Can’t make it to Alabama? Prefer cropping in your pajamas? We’ll be doing a very similar event - only no catered meals. :) You’ll need to purchase your own supplies but you’ll still get the classes and time to socialize with other scrapbookers, plus some extra games and opportunities for prizes in an exclusive Facebook group. (Not on Facebook? You can still join us - I will make sure you get all the same info via email and zoom!)

Feel like you can’t even think about starting a scrapbook until you get those photos organized?? Join me at the Scrapbook Studio on Friday, March 31, from 6 pm until midnight for my first “Sip & Sort” event! Just $10 for six hours! Bring a snack to share and a beverage of your choice, and we’ll spend the evening sorting our photos — whether they’re in a shoebox under your bed, a plastic tub in the closet, on your computer, or even on your phone! I hope that having a dedicated time to work on this (where we can share tips with each other!) will help us all get a handle on our photos!

If you are not local (or you would just rather have things delivered to your door!) I truly appreciate your orders on my website! Remember that to combat the website crashes that sometimes happen when a few thousand die-hard scrapbookers try to log on at the exact same minute, CM has implemented a queue system for launch days, it’ll be in effect from about 11:30 am until 2:30 pm (depending on website traffic - often they can turn it off sooner if things are running smoothly! It’s just a precaution!)

I think that is it for this time.
