Hooray! We made it to February!

Yahoo!! It’s February! We survived what felt like the longest January ever (and maybe the coldest!) and yet I found myself thinking this morning “wait, how is it February? I’m not ready!”

I had SUCH a fun time at our first ever Mom & Me crop and I am looking forward to the next one! If you couldn’t join us this time, mark your calendar for May 10th (the day before Mother’s Day) for the next one!

This email has (of course) my February event schedule plus info about the fun new Growing Up collection which includes some themed bundles and the chance to earn an exclusive new organizer pocket!

As always, be sure to read to the end for information about how to order for pickup (if you are local) OR my 2025 program for helping offset shipping costs for my out-of-town customers!

The dreaded day is here. :(

Bad news, my friends. I think we have all figured this had to happen at some point, and unfortunately it’s starting February 12th - Creative Memories has had to raise some of their prices to account for the increases they are facing in raw materials and other expenses. The good news is that several categories are NOT going up, including adhesives, cardstock and designer paper, but nearly everything else has an increase of 50¢ - $1.50. Please note that there is one of these that seems like a HUGE jump, and that’s the 12x12 Pocket Pages. Yes, the price is going up by a lot, but it’s because they are increasing the number of pages you get in a pack from 12 to 16 (which aligns with the number of “regular” pages that come in one pack). It’s really only 8¢ more per page. :)

Some of these items have been the exact same price since the New CM launched in 2014, so I knew we were due for an increase, and I hope we can all appreciate how long CM tried to keep from passing this on to us.

Below you can see the (far too long) list of products that will be impacted by this, again, starting on February 12. So if you have a bunch of albums to order, or some other items you’ve been procrastinating ordering, you can make an informed decision about when to do that.

For my in-person customers, products currently in my inventory will remain at current pricing through the end of the year. After December 31 I’ll need to standardize all the prices so that I can keep track. But hopefully by then you’ll have been able to purchase what you need! As I add new things throughout the year, of course I will have to pass on the new prices to you.

Growing Up

Perfect for kid photos we have the fun new Growing Up collection!

This collection features everything from rainbows and butterflies to video games and smiley faces. It’s what I refer to as a “mini collection” because it doesn’t have all the same components that our full collections have (no mat pack, for instance, but they are also offering six fun new Theme Bundles that will help you customize the collection to fit the kids in your own scrapbooking life. (I actually think I’m going to be able to use this for some of my own childhood photos!

The 12x12 album cover is Jade Green with a silver metallic foil shooting star design. The collection also includes a Designer Paper Pack, Stickers and Embellishments.

There are two punches included with this release, the Playground Border Punch and the Headphones Punch.

Then, once you have the “base” of the collection, you can pick and choose which of the add-on Theme Bundles you would like to add. (These are similar to the old “Theme Packs” but those came with six sheets of paper, a piece of cardstock and one sticker strip. These come with a full 12 pack of paper and a package of embellishments.

CM does love to offer things like this in what they call a “buffet” and they’re doing it again. Purchase any six of the new Theme Bundles and you’ll get a 2-pack of the exclusive new Power Sectional Pockets FREE! There is a “one-click bundle” which will give you all six plus the pockets OR you can mix and match any combo of six.

(Sadly the Power Sectional Pockets are not yet available separately, but I hope they will release them - they will be great for organizing papers that come with embellishment packs!)

I have to admit here that I have personally submitted requests for several of these things, specifically (for sure Pirates!) and although my kids are grown and their scrapbooks are done, my OWN childhood photos are not scrapbooked AND you know I am going to find a way to use all of these for Disney layouts!

More New (and Returning) Favorites!

The other items that are available starting Monday include a NEW Power Project Case (this was previously available in the Rainbow Dot pattern as an Advisor Join exclusive!) and the return of the Anti-Stick Powder Tool (which sold out in like two days when it was originally released), the previous Advisor-exclusive Pop-Up Trash Can (which is one of my favorite things EVER because you can collapse it flat to store in your crop bag and then pop it up to put on your table for trash - or hang it from your cup holder!) AND the arrival of the Jumbo Tape Runner REFILLS.

The Jumbo Tape Runner was a HIT and I am fairly confident it will become a permanent part of our product line. CM hasn’t confirmed that yet, but I think as more of us get a chance to try it and use it, AND if we let them know that we want it (feel free to email CMProductSuggestion@CreativeMemories.com if you love the new Jumbo TR and would like to see it kept as a permanent item!) they will listen to us! Ditto if you’d like to see them add a Repositionable option!

Unfortunately the Jumbo Tape Runner sold out within a day and we won’t be getting any more back until probably May, but watch for me to announce it OR if you are local and know you want it, I will put that as a preorder option on this month’s preorder form so that I will automatically order one for you!

If you are not local I hope you will take advantage of my new program hoping to make it more fair for my out-of-town customers! I can’t order for you to save on shipping, but if you are going to order on my website I will give you a $10 CM Credit to offset shipping.
