Hello again, scrapbook friends! Hope your January is off to a good start! I’m really enjoying the Jumpstart January challenge with many of you, although already I have fallen a couple of days behind. :)

CM is launching three new collections that coordinate with their new Beginner Class Album Kits, and they’re going to be coming two weeks apart, so I’m here in your inbox today and I’ll be here again on the 25th (when I’ll have February event sign ups!) and again in early February.

The Jumbo Tape Runner is BACK in stock, as are the Repositionable refills. You cannot purchase a case with a repo refill, those are only available as an add-on. Find it under the Adhesives category in the shop section on my website.

Event Schedule

All events are held at my studio in Madison, Alabama, and drop in shoppers are always welcome during any scheduled event.

To help me ensure that I know who to expect, I do all registrations/crop fee payments via Google Forms, so once you’ve looked at the options please click the link at the bottom of this section to sign up!

Come create two double page layouts using some of CM’s newest collections. I’ll provide the “ingredients” and the directions and we’ll build the layouts together. We will be doing the Your Own Way and On the Bright Side projects.

If you would like to commit yourself to a full year of the Scrap Journal or Project Recipe Clubs, you can sign up for that on my Clubs registration form and save a little by purchasing the whole year’s events over paying month by month. (Or you can fill out the form if you just want me to send you an email reminder the day before so you can decide if you can come!)

No more crop weekends in January - and both sessions of Winterfest are completely SOLD OUT. Our February crop will be February 13 & 14 (yes, Valentine’s Day), and then I’m heading off to Japan for a couple of weeks so there won’t be anything else till March.

First annual (I hope!) Winterfest!!

Both Winterfest Staycation Retreats are completely SOLD OUT - and I am excited about seeing so many of you. If you are signed up please be watching your inbox for a pre-event email from me; I had hoped to send those out this past week but, well, life. :)

New Album Box Kits

Creative Memories is launching a new Beginner Class System this year that is centered around the Simple Page Kits. New scrapbookers will be able to choose from one of three themed page kits - On the Bright Side, Natural Beginnings or Global Getaway. (If you are a more experienced scrapbooker who loves the Simple Page Kits, I can sell these to you as well!)

Then, to make it easier for them to get started - or, for YOU to finish an album quickly, there will be a coordinating “Album Box” kit available which includes a 12x12 Album Cover preassembled with top-loading pocket pages, 48 preprinted papers (background pages and cut-apart pages), Border Stickers (6 pk), embellishments (80 pk) and a Repositionable Tape Runner. Best of all there is a Layout Guidebook to walk you through assembling all the layouts using the same techqniques used with our Simple Page Kits! This system is so cleverly designed that you’ll be able to complete an entire album in a single weekend!

Once someone has mastered the Simple Page Kit style, or for those of you who are already to that point, there will be a coordinating collection for even more creative opportunities!

The first of these options is launching MONDAY, January 12th at Noon. Read on!

On the Bright Side

Of course it wouldn’t be a full product release without a punch or two, and this time we have the very cute Whimsical Scallop Border Punch and the Key to my Heart Mini Punch Trio!

As always, if you purchase the Buy-it-All Bundle which includes all the decorative elements and punches (but not the album cover) you’ll save 10%! (There is no Playbook for these collections that supplement the Album Box kits). All the items are available separately as well - except the set of 12 Simple Page Kits, which are ONLY available in the bundle.

New Adhesives!

In addition to the On the Bright Side collection we have some new adhesive options: The Place & Peel Tape is a lightly tacky tape that’s perfect for gently adhering papers to your cutting mat, or to secure a stencil to the page so you can use ink with it. (I’m still figuring this technique out!).

Then we have two new THIN dimensional options - THIN Foam Squares and Thin Foam Tape. Just like their regular sized versions, but half the thickness, which is great when you want a little bit of pop without making your pages too thick.
