Happy Summer, scrapbook friends! I’ve been enjoying participating in the CM Virtual Crop this weekend - it’s one of the few completely free weekends I have all summer and it’s been blissful!

Because the June products were released with a couple of days left in May, our midmonth product release is a bit early this month too. I am not sure what that is going to mean for the beginning of July - guess we will have to stay tuned for that!

The next time you log on to my CM Website you’ll see that they have made some changes to the navigation menu. (For instance, “Last Chance” is now called “Deals”). If you are someone who likes to order right on the dot of noon on launch day, you may want to take a minute prior to the queue opening up at 11:30 to look around the site and get familiar with the changes. If you have any feedback that you’d like me to share with CM please send it my way and I will pass it along.

SO many events going on this summer, both virtual and in person! You can always see the full schedule on my website. All events are held at my studio in Madison, Alabama unless otherwise noted.

Tuesday ZOOM crops (10:00 am - noon)* June 13, 20, 27
Wednesday Day Crops (9:00 am - 2:30 pm)Wednesdays, June 14, 28 and July 5, 12, 19, 26. (No regular Wednesday crop on the 21st due to the Longest Day crop happening that day).

3rd Tuesday Layout Class (6:00 - 8:00 pm): This time on the 2nd Tuesday, June 13 (that is THIS week!) Create two layouts using Enchanted Wizard and Enchanted Princess! (Or U.S. of Yay, if you prefer!)

The Longest Day Crop

As scrapbookers we have a special affection for memories, and so I have chosen to partner with the Alzheimer’s Association for a 12-hour fundraiser crop on the longest day of the year, Wednesday, June 21, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.

In person croppers have the option of attending the whole 12 hours, or choosing a 4- or 6- hour section. Zoom croppers can of course come and go as desired. I will be doing three live layout classes that will be streamed to the crop room TV as well as the zoom, at 10:00 am, 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm. The classes will be recorded and I can share them if you are unable to participate in real time.

I would love to have you join us, and if you cannot participate but would like to donate to this great cause, I would appreciate that as well.

100% of your crop fee is paid as a donation directly to the Alzheimer’s Association. Additionally I will be donating 25% of all product sales (in-person and on my website) on the 21st to the same organization. Once I receive notification of your donation from the Alzheimer’s Association I will add you to the event list. I will be contacting everyone registered by email later this week.

If you cannot join us but would like to donate to this cause, that is much appreciated as well.

The Longest Day Crop 2023

Sort & Snack

Join me on Friday, June 30 from 6 pm till midnight at my studio in Madison for six hours of dedicated photo organization time!!

Drag out that box of photos, your laptop or even just your phone, and we’ll work on the hardest part of scrapbooking - getting organized! Each guest will have a full 6’ table to spread out on!

Bring a snack to share and let’s get organized! We did this in March and it was great! I know I definitely have lots more organizing to do!

July Layout a Day challenge!

So many of you who participated in the Jumpstart January challenge have asked me if we could do it again - so we are! Join me every day for the month of July in a dedicated Facebook group where I will post a layout sketch. You’ll have 24 hours to create a layout based on that sketch and post it in the group to be eligible to win daily prizes. Complete them all and be entered to win $100 in CM credits!

There is a $10 fee for this event just to make sure you’re committed!
