Quick Secret Box update

Howdy, scrapbook friends! This is just a speedy update with info about the two things coming out Monday, plus registration opening for August cropping events - including the Ocean Treasures class I had you vote on last week!

Event Schedule

Technically there are a few more July events but it’s also time to start thinking about August. I hope to be opening Croptoberfest registration in early August as well so check your calendar and be ready for that, since historically that one sells out, and I am unable to add a third date this time because of my daughter’s wedding in October!

Wednesday Day Crops: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Wednesday July 29, August 5, 12, 19 & 29
No frills, just time to work on your current projects. Bring your lunch or we’ll go in together on a DoorDash order. $10.

Weekend Crops: Friday noon - 9 pm and/or Saturday 10 am - 6 pm
July 31 & August 1 (potluck crop)
August 14 & 15 (pizza & sandwiches crop)
August 28 & 29 (potluck crop)
$20 for one day or $30 for both days

Project Recipe Class: 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Come create two double page layouts using some of CM’s newest collections. I’ll provide the “ingredients” and the directions and we’ll build the layouts together. $20 basic or $35 deluxe (which includes 2 packs of stickers).

Ocean Treasures Use-the-Pack Class

Hooray! Enough of you expressed interest in this class that I will be offering it on Thursday, August 13th, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm (although I don’t think it will really take two hours). Class fee is $20.00 and will include everything you need to create two double page layouts, one single page layout and a bonus card. You just need to bring your own 12” Trimmer and adhesive, and, if you have the Custom Cutting System with the Jumbo Circle Template and red blade please bring that too.

If you are not able to attend the class but would still like the class kit, which includes the printed directions, you can do that too. Pickup $20, mailed $25.

If this turns out to be a success I will look at offering similar layout classes in the future, so even if this particular theme doesn’t appeal to you, let me know if you’d like to see more layout class options. :)

Secret Box #3

It is time for Secret Box #3! If you are a member of my Secret Box Club, I will be ordering your box for you unless I hear otherwise. If you are not in the club, I can still order one for you! The full contents of the box are a mystery (but… I might know a spoiler or two… if you can’t wait let me know and I can give you a bit more info. Don’t want to post that in the email because I do know people who love being surprised!) The images in the marketing photo are always a hint too.

This box is $55.75 (and there’s a “high level” overview of the contents of the box linked at the bottom of the preview page linked in the “how to order” section below.

NEW (ish) 5x5 inking stencils

I will admit to you that I am still struggling to remember that using inks and stencils is even a thing with Creative Memories now. I have, however, purchased all the colors of inks and brushes AND all the stencils. :)

If you bought the inks and stencils when they were first released, you were able to get versions of the four new stencils already, however if you missed them and you want to complete your collection now you have the chance! Four stencils are being rereleased on Monday. (But please check your stash before you order!) Stencils are 5x5 and $5.00 each.

Because there are so few items this time I did NOT do a preorder form for my local croppers, but I will still be ordering first thing Monday morning so if you would like me to add anything to my order you can just reply to this email and let me know what you would like.

As always, whether or not you are local, as a special thank you to those of you who choose to shop with me as your Advisor, if you EMAIL ME I am happy to gift you a $10 CM credit to offset your shipping charges. I sadly can’t just give you free shipping, but the credit does not reduce the qualifying amount for the promo, it just takes $10 off your total. Just say “I am planning to order” and I will happily transfer the credit to your CM account.

(Please PLEASE do not request this via messenger or text. It makes it so much harder for me to transfer the credits that way and since I’m still out of town I need all the help I can get!)

I continue to get reports from other Advisor friends that people’s orders are not being credited to the proper person. So please, if you order online, verify that your order is being credited to my Advisor account. The easiest way to ensure that is to go directly through my website in the block below - and then to make sure it says “you are shopping with Nicole S” on the top of the page. As always, thanks so much my friends! I’m so glad to be home, it was great to get to spend the weekend scrapbooking with so many of you (our sold out crowd!) and I can’t wait to do it again this coming weekend - or later in the month.
