Well - another month when I have no idea what is going on with CM! I try hard not to “spam” you but also want to keep you updated with what is going on, hope the balance is decent.

I do know that there will be ANOTHER new product release on Monday, June 17th, so you’ll be hearing from me again next week.

The Longest Day

Local friends, please don’t forget my Open House with Noreen Smith THIS FRIDAY, June 14, from 3:00 - 8:00 pm.

I still have two all-day spots left for the in-person Longest Day crop on Saturday, June 15 from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm, and two afternoon spots from 3:00 - 9:00 pm.

DROP IN SHOPPING IS NOT AVAILABLE during the Saturday event. We will be doing lots of hybrid classes and things on Zoom and in the CM Virtual Crop group and neither Noreen or I will be available to visit with drop-in guests. If you want to meet Noreen the ONLY opportunity is at the Friday Open House (or to pay for the in-person crop).

Unlimited spots are available for the Virtual event, also from 9-9 on Saturday.

The Longest Day fundraiser

25% of the retail price of anything you purchase on my website OR in person at my studio on June 14 & 15 will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Labor Day Weekend Retreat 2024

My Life Collection

You all know about my Alzheimer’s fundraiser, but did you know that I got Creative Memories to release some exclusive products in support of MY fundraiser?? Well - we hope they’ll benefit the whole company and community, but I am proud that I was the spark that got this whole collection going.

You can read about my role in this on the CM Blog.

Then check out the My Life collection, which consists of an 8x8 paper album with coordinating stickers designed specifically to create a keepsake you can leave with a loved one in memory care - or with any of your loved ones who might need a reminder about all the people who love them, whether it’s a grandchild who lives far away, or a student heading off to college!

If an 8-page paper album isn’t enough space for you, you can easily cut apart the pages and insert them in side-loading sleeves in one of the beautiful My Life 8x8 albums, in Eggplant and Flint. (Love the design but wish it was 12x12? You can get it on gorgeous Chocolate bookcloth in the Our Memories album!)

The paper album and stickers were my suggestion, as was my favorite part of this release (and the one I think EVERYONE can use, whether they are a scrapbooker or not!!) the All-Purpose Scissors with PURPLE handles!!

Finally, show your support for Alzheimer’s research with the My Life Mini Button set - all profits from the sale of these $2.00 pins will go directly to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Kids Kits

Introducing NEW scrapbook kits for kids! With the Cool Vibes and Totally Awesome Kids Kits, the kids bring the photos and creativity, the kit brings the rest to make their own 8x8 Paper Album.

Each kit includes an 8x8 paper album, 8x8 paper pack, stickers, embellishments, three sparkly gel pens, two roller stamps, a wide-tip glue pen and a pair of decorative scissors! All in a cute box that makes it perfect for gift giving! (Details of what comes in each kit are on the info flyer at the end of this email).

These kits are designed for kids ages 5 and above (although I’m sure there are a few 4-year-olds out there who are ready!) and I am open to the idea of doing a Kids Camp workshop at some point this summer. If you are interested in that, please let me know so I can check with you as I set my schedule.

To coordinate with these kits, we also have a fun zippered storage case, a Cool Vibes Trio Card kit and two very cute 8x8 album covers: Cool Vibes (Tide Pool bookcloth with foil stars) and Totally Awesome (Ebony bookcloth with smiley faces).

Artsy Add-Ons

Do you struggle with how to “cluster” embellishments? Are your stickers just randomly scattered on your layouts? CM is introducing a new concept called Artsy Add-Ons that will follow the same formulas as our Card Kits, with pieces labeled to help you follow the designer’s clustering suggestions.

These are being released for the following collections: My Life, Passport to Adventure, Adventure Parks, Summer Break and Welcome Baby.

Please note that the artwork in the Artsy Add-On packs is the same as artwork included in the collection. The difference is that these are labeled to help instruct how to layer and cluster them in a simple A, B, C format.

And finally (so much for short and sweet!) the This Life Simple Page Kit #7 is coming out on Monday, along with the much-anticipated release of the Rainbow Dots Card Pod and Dividers! I know several of you have been waiting for that to come back!

It’s designed for storing greeting cards (you know, the ones we’re all making from the CM Card Kits!) and has dividers with stickers that allow you to label the sections with things like Birthday, Thank You and Sympathy, OR you can use it for so many other things! I’m using mine to store my various adhesives, but I know of other people who are using it to store photos or small tools. It’s just a handy size, with a zippered top and a carry handle, plus the Rainbow Dot stuff is just SO CUTE!

How to Order!

If you are local to me and would like me to order any of the new products for you, I will have them ready for pickup at the Open House on the 14th or at another one of my events.

(Remember that the Saturday event will NOT be open for drop-in shoppers or order pickup!)
