Last year we did an “experiment” of combining the in-person and virtual Happy Album Circles and, well, it didn’t work so well. So this year we are going back to separate events.

The in-person Happy Album Circle will be on the first THURSDAY of the month, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at my studio in Madison.

The virtual Happy Album Circle will be on the second WEDNESDAY of the month, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Zoom.

The in-person sessions are $10 per month, or you can prepay for the whole year for $100. The virtual sessions are $20 for the whole year OR free if you purchased your 2025 Happy Album from me. (Yes, you can attend both the in-person and the virtual - I always am glad to have the extra time!)

2025 Happy Album Circle registration

I’m so excited by the response to this event! I can’t wait to help grow up a new generation of scrapbookers!! (And maybe this will help some of you moms who I know want to be cropping but feel guilty taking time away from your family!

In 2025 we will be doing a quarterly “Mom and Me” (or Grandma and me!) crop. These will be on a Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm. Each session will start with a group project, like a layout or mini album, then we’ll have lunch and some free creation time.

Fee for an adult and one child is $50 and you can add an additional child for $30. This includes all supplies needed for the group project plus lunch.

If you want to bring another grownup (or you’re a childless adult who just wants an additional crop day) the fee for that is $20 - you won’t get the class supplies, but you can eat lunch. :)

I had a lot of questions about the Simple Page kit club and to be honest, I’m still figuring it out myself! If you would like to join the club but cannot attend the quarterly sessions, I can give you a free crop coupon for a Wednesday day crop OR $10 off a weekend crop session.

I still have a couple of spots open for the full year club, which gets you all 12 kits, plus a bonus kit, plus free attendance at the quarterly club sessions.

If you would like to attend the sessions but are not in the club, they’ll be $10 and you can purchase the kits you want individually. Or if you would like to come crop for a few hours on a Friday night you are welcome to join us and work on whatever project you choose. :)

I am so very honored to have been chosen to be a part of CM’s brand new Design Team! As you know, for several months I have been able to help create the monthly Project Recipes, and now CM is expanding the kind of projects I’ll be able to participate in. All of these women are such talented scrapbookers and I can’t wait to see what they come up with!

YES there will be a refill for the Jumbo Tape Runner — it’s just stuck in transit, so probably won’t arrive until February. The refill will be $29, but it will give you the equivalent of 4.4 “regular” refills (which would cost $37.50) so it’s a cost saving over the smaller size dispenser too!

Anytime CM does one of these Adhesive Buffets, I think they are testing the waters to see what we like. My guess is the Jumbo Tape Runner will be permanent to our product line, and some of the other items we may see again in the future. Hopefully we’ll also get a Jumbo Repositionable Tape Runner too — it’ll really depend on the feedback they get on this one.
